Last week, I emailed Kathryn Lasky, author of the Guardians of Ga’Hoole and Wolves of the Beyond series in the hope that she might reveal a tidbit or so about the upcoming trailer for Legend of the Guardians. Well, the trailer is now out, the reactions are out, and Kathryn took the time to write back to relay a message for all the fans out there. Dear Fans of Guardians of Ga’Hoole,

I wish to thank you for all the enthusiastic emails that have been coming in with the debut of the trailer for the upcoming 3-D animated film “Legend of the Guardians” which is an adaptation of the first three books (The Capture, The Journey and The Rescue) in my fifteen book Guardians of Ga’Hoole series. I only wish I had the time to personally answer each and every one of them, but due to a pressing deadline on two books for my new Wolves of The Beyond series and the next book in Daughters of the Sea series, I am doing a lot of traveling for research and writing full time on the manuscripts.

Please stay tuned to my website as I hope to soon address many of your questions about the film that will be released on September 24th. Like all of you, I am counting down the days, weeks and months in great anticipation!
